Red Moon is a Norwegian artist with an impressive sound. Her music is pushed forward by emotion and comes straight from the heart, with the title of this one hitting that right on the nose. ‘Emotional’ is centred on an addictive blend of lo-fi samples and warm synth chords, letting Red Moon’s acrobatic lead vocal take centre stage as the texture crescendos. On the release, she explains: “This song is a confrontation between yourself and someone who throws you off balance; like when things escalate in a fight or when it seems like there is no way out of a specific moment.
